Changsha Receives Over 2.08 Billion Tourist Trips on New Year's Day

Festivities for the year 2025 began on October 31, the New Year's Eve and run through the whole day of January 1, 2025. The telecommunication data showed that Changsha received over 2.08 million tourist trips on New Year's Day.

As of 5 p.m. that day, a total of 499,500 tourist trips were made at Changsha's 84 graded tourist attractions. The three most popular scenic areas—Orange Isle Scenic Area, Lushan Scenic Area, and Changsha Window on the World—received 72,000, 61,200, and 31,400 tourist trips respectively.
