Recently, the maple leaves on Yuelu Mountain have turned red, attracting many tourists to admire the stunning maple scenery.
Aiwan Pavilion is located in the Qingfeng Gorge on the east side of the
Yuelu Mountain Scenic Area. Built in 1792 AD, the pavilion was named
after a poem Strolling in the Mountain written by Du Mu, a poet of the
Tang Dynasty. Aiwan Pavilion is known as the four famous pavilions in
China, together with the Zuiweng Pavilion in Anhui's Chuzhou, the Huxin
Pavilion in Zhejiang's Hangzhou, and the Taoran Pavilion in Beijing.
